Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic, Belgrade Mayor Dragan Djilas and President of the Managing Board of VDL company Vim van der Leg signed the Memorandum of understanding between Serbia and this Dutch company today.
Representatives of workers who didn’t move to Fiat factory in Kragujevac, and who have remained in factory „Zastava automobili“ have threatened that they would block that factory, because from April 60 percents of salary shall be paid to the workers who do not come to work and are not engaged in work.
Prime Minister in the Government of Serbia and Minister of Economy and Regional Development, Mladjan Dinkic, has suggested today during the visit to the company Jastrebac in Nis, that the Government of Serbia shall secure a special program for discount during purchase of pumps produced by this company, in order to secure job for workers and regular payment of salaries.
Thanks to export of buses into European Union, new 70 work places have been opened in Neobus. Production of 150 buses per year for the period of 3 years, which has been agreed last year with Dutch company VDL has been supported by the Ministry of Economy with the Development Fund credit amounting to 2.6 million euros for procurement of intermediates and modernization of equipment. Prime Minister Dinkic says that the main objective is opening new work places and securing safe job to the existing workers.
