The Ministry of Economy and Regional Development has issued a public call and selected economic diplomats who will take office this year in diplomatic missions and consular posts in countries identified as Serbia’s priority economic partners.
Their extensive preparation took 6 months, during which period the economic diplomats underwent training in various fields, with the aim of giving them best possible starting position for service in diplomatic missions and consular posts. In addition to promoting Serbia as a desirable economic partner, economic diplomats will also actively research the markets of those countries, their prevailing business practices, laws, opportunities for exports of Serbian goods and services and business opportunities for Serbian enterprises, thus facilitating the establishment of direct business contacts between enterprises of the two countries.
